“463” are the four hundred and sixty-three days since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, a number that will arrive on the opening day of the exhibition, June 1. The + symbol has two meanings: the unknown number of days that the war will continue during the exhibition, as well as the concept of “+18 to enter,” which often denotes sensitive content. The subject of war includes all the components of unacceptable or “sensitive content”—violence, murder, torture, cruelty, aggression, dangerous acts, etc.–and means that the exhibition space is nearly the only space where the horrors of war can be shown without censorship.
The exhibition presents the works of various Ukrainian artists of different levels and status, whether refugees or longer-term Catalan residents. Most of the works presented in the exhibition reflect on the theme of the war.

“463” son els quatre-cents seixanta-tres dies que farà l’1 de juny (dia de la inauguració de l’exposició) des de l’inici de la invasió russa a Ucraïna. El símbol “+” te dos significats: representa la incertesa pel que fa als dies de guerra que encara queden per venir, però també fa referència al concepte de “contingut prohibit” +18, amb què sovint s’etiqueta el “contingut sensible”. La guerra reuneix tots aquests continguts “sensibles” o directament “inacceptables” – violència, assassinat, tortura, crueltat, agressió, perill, etc. – En un escenari bèl•lic, l’espai expositiu esdevé pràcticament l’únic lloc on els horrors de la guerra es poden mostrar sense censura.
L’exposició presenta les obres de diversos artistes ucraïnesos de diferents nivells i estatus, que actualment són bé refugiats, bé residents a Catalunya. La majoria de les obres presentades a l’exposició reflexionen sobre el tema de la guerra.
